Tapio has worked as General Manager in listed companies in Russia and CIS and as regional manager in Germany half of his career. The other half he has led Management Consulting projects in the Eastern countries: he conducted 20 long Leadership Academy projects for local and international companies in the East. With managEast he has supported 30 Finnish companies to establish export into the East.
Since 2014, he works as a team coordinator for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), managing so far 45 projects in post Soviet area. The main topic in these projects have been promoting East-West cooperation mainly exports to EU countries.
